DESTINATION
http://www.onenew.org/3/node/add/story
Goal: transfer all the content (articles) under Dokuwiki into Drupal, site version3. Use the dokuwiki syntax parser installed in Drupal or use a dokuwiki to Drupal converter.
Method: It is about 30 articles. Articles in Dokuwiki are stored in the form of text files. All files are stored in directories under wiki/data/ folder.
1) Simply go by FTP to
ftp://onenewor@onenew.org/public_html/wiki/data
and retrieve all the pages.
2) Create the exact copy of the categories in dokuwiki under Drupal. Look at the directories to see all categories.
ok, checked 2 times.
3) Open the Drupal "add node" form. Using the form, add a node of "story type", and enter manually all the articles (30). Select at the bottom of the form "input format" = pearwiki filter.
Do that for all articles.
4) Retrieve the files from Dokuwiki. Place them in a safe folder on the Drupal site.
Make the link between the articles and the files when needed, for pictures and documents.
5) Check that the content of all articles is correctly transfered. Points to check are:
- correct page layout 'mise en page', with titles, sub-titles, paragraph, lists, etc...
- correct parsing of web addresses and email addresses (if you click on them, you go to the target URL)
- correct display of images and linking
- correct display of documents (as an icon) and linking
- keep creation date if possible
